KING FOR A DAY 2011...UPDATE 2!

With only four days until the jam The lads decided to meet up at Liam and Bens and do some building, with two of the ramps already finished and two more nearly completed over the weekend we started building and finishing off the ramps...

Ben Murphy taking a break and resting from all the hard work him, myself and Joe put in last night, wait for the day to see where this little contraption is going!

Liam Oakes spent most of the night playing with an axe and talking about band Tshirts with big writing on them whilst me, Joe and Ben did all the work....BLOODY EMOGRANTS!!

In the background you can see the latest build complete with the rail Michael Birch made for us, massive cheers to him for that!! So with that done there are now 6 ramps pretty much completed and in all honesty Liam and Richie have done a tonne of work on them so if you want to thank Liam do it at the jam... for those of you who don't know what he looks like here he is...

KING FOR A DAY 2011...UPDATE

So yesterday a few of the lads started building for the King For a day jam, I popped down after work to help out and see how everything was going!

Us lads at Ls6bmx are very professional, heres our detailed blueprints for the ramps and there positions on the day...

The lads had almost completed the extension to go on top of the small quarter next to the sub box by the time I had got there, a few more bits of 2 be 4 be 4 be 2 and this bad lad will be finished...

Work was well underway on the staple of every jam at Hyde park...The wallride on top of the flat bank, Joe Bailey was heading this one up with his usual upbeat, happy go lucky attitude...

And with that, building was done for the evening as we needed to Liberate more supplies so we jumped in the van like a bunch of gypo's and went on a mission to find more wood. More updates soon!
